LINDA CREAMER
Linda Diane Creamer, born on June 13, 1947, in Ravenna, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2025, in Wheeling, West Virginia, at the age of 77.
Linda dedicated her life to education and community service. She began her career teaching Adult Basic Education in Akron, Ohio, where she helped countless individuals improve their literacy and life skills. Her passion for education led her to Bellaire, Ohio, where she directed and taught Adult Basic Education programs. Linda also shared her love of literature and language with students at Bellaire High School, where she taught English for over a decade.
A graduate of Kent State University, Linda furthered her education at Youngstown State University, always striving to expand her knowledge and skills. Her commitment to education extended beyond the classroom as she actively participated in the Local Ohio Network Training for Schools on TASC and served as a volunteer tutor for the Akron Summit Tutorial program.
Linda was deeply involved in her community, serving as president of the Pilot Club of Bellaire, Ohio, in 1988, and leading the Bellaire Library Board of Trustees from 2001 to 2013. She was also a dedicated member of the Bellaire Pregnancy Awareness Council and volunteered her time with Summit County children’s services.
Linda is preceded in death by her father, Michael Caniglia; her step-mother, Martha Caniglia; her mother, Edna Roth; and her sisters, Judy D’Erano and Michelle Lund. She is survived by her beloved husband, John Creamer, and her cherished son, Robert Whitney. John and Robert sustained her through years of ill health, providing unwavering support and love.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home in Bellaire, Ohio.
Linda’s legacy of compassion, dedication, and service will be remembered by all who knew her.
