LINDA BOND
Linda Louise Bond (Long), 83, of Pickerington, Ohio passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on May 11, 2025. Born on March 14, 1942, in Bellaire, Ohio, Linda lived a life marked by love, faith and devotion to her family and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Long, brothers Steven Long and Freddie Long and in-laws Hobart and Mary Anna Bond.
She is survived by her children Hobie Bond (Kristen) and Bethany Fout (Jeremiah), along with her beloved grandchildren: Ben Bond (Rachel), David Bond, Rachel Luckich (Jack), Kyle Kallaus (Miranda), Carrie Tharp (Cooper), Callie Farmer (Logan), Cody Fout and Kaylin Fout. She was also a proud great-grand mother to Stevie Kallaus and Adelaide Louise Kallaus, her cherished namesake.
Linda was a woman of unwavering Christian faith, and she found great comfort and anticipation in the thought of reuniting with her parents, in-laws and brothers in heaven – whole, joyful and pain-free! Her legacy of faith and love will remain deeply rooted in the hearts of those she leaves behind. There wasn’t a room she walked into or a person she encountered where her smile and love didn’t come alive! And there wasn’t a card table where she didn’t pull up a chair and jump right in!
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home in Pickerington, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following. Linda’s remains will be laid to rest at a later date in Bellaire, Ohio alongside her parents at a private graveside ceremony. Donations may be made in Linda’s honor to the Maranatha Community Church (Pickerington OH) building fund.
