Sarah Ellen Klempa, 96, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at Sienna Hills Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Adena, Ohio.
Sarah was born January 17, 1929 in Huntsville, Alabama a daughter of the late Joe and Bessie (Lloyd) Harris.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio and was a retired employee of United Dairy in Martins Ferry, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Richard A. Klempa; son, Richard (Ed) Klempa; sisters, Anne Carter, Martha Bagwell; and brother, Robert Harris.
Sarah is survived by a grandson, Rick Klempa; granddaughter, Rikki Mahan; and many nieces and nephews.
As for Sarah’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio 43906.
