SHARON DISANTIS
Sharon Marlene Disantis, 87, of Jacobsburg, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 5th, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born on February 1st, 1938, in Armstrongs Mills, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer Stanley Dornon and Inez Gertrude Boston Dornon.
Sharon was a hard worker, spending many years at Union Local schools as a bus driver, teacher’s aide and cook, all while taking care of her family. Sharon was a member of Jacobsburg United Methodist Church most of her life. Sharon was a member and current Warder of Weyer Chapter 515 Order of Eastern Star, a member of many Bunco groups around the area, and was a OPERS union representative for years as well.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters Joyce Monahan, Doris Milhoan, and Flora “Sis” Earliwine; her brothers Roger Dornon and Bruce Dornon; and a son Mark Disantis Jr.
Surviving are her loving husband Mark Disantis Sr.; her children Edward Cole, Dale (Amy) Cole, Ray (Cheryl) Cole, and Dennis Disantis; her grandchildren Chad Cole, Jennifer (Clarence Carpenter) Cole, Terry (Stacey) Cole, Jaime Cole, Michael (Amanda) Cole, Derek (Megan Baker) Cole, Amber (Dustin) Dillon, and Noah Kritz, Tara Blackwell, Mark Disantis III, and Delicia; greatgrandchildren Wesley, Lisbon and Joby, Addison, Mason, Logan, Caleb, Conner, Carter, Colton, Hunter, Brycen, Jace, Kamdyn, and Bodie; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, with the Order of Eastern Stars service at 7:30 PM at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, Ohio. Funeral services will be the following morning on Saturday, May 10th, 2025, at 11 AM with pastors Rusty Atkinson and Ken Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery.
