SUSAN EFAW

Born on May 3, 1962 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late James and Shirley (Hill) Richards.

Susan will be sadly missed by her adoring husband, Ed Efaw, two daughters; Letisha Farley and Bethany Efaw, four grandchildren; Lily and Alex Rymer, Silas Lund and Greyson Gray. Also surviving are two sisters; Lynne (Ken Cramer) and Cindy Richards along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Susan was an amazing woman. She will be remembered fondly for her passion for gardening. Her love of butterflies was a reflection of her gentle spirit and appreciation for nature’s wonders. Susan cherished her visits to Siesta Key Beach, where she found solace and tranquility by the sea. Above all, she adored her grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into her life. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.

Susan was a proud member of the Eastern Star and an enthusiastic supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Her community involvement extended to her role as a dedicated Girl Scout leader, where she inspired young girls with her leadership and commitment.

Family and friends are invited to CARE Funeral Home, 204 West Main Street, St. Clairsville Ohio on Monday May 5, 2025 from 4 p.m. until time of remembrance at 6 p.m.
