CLAUDETTA BISBOCCI

Claudetta June (Caseber) Bisbocci, 89, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. She was born on December 25, 1935, in Monongahela, PA, the daughter of Amos E. “Skip” Caseber and Jennie Rosetta “Rosie” (Lawrence) Caseber.
Claudetta, known as “Claudie” to family and friends, was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and dog mom to her dachshund, Sadie.
Claudie graduated from Martins Ferry High School in 1953. She has forever been exceptionally proud to be a Purple Rider.
Claudie and John “Biz” Bisbocci were married in 1954, sweethearts since Claudie was in the 6th grade and Biz in the 7th.
She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Martins Ferry and worked there as the secretary for over 41 years before retiring.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Biz, and her parents, Skip and Rosie Caseber.
Claudie is survived by her four children: J. Brian (Patty) Bisbocci of Scott Depot, WV, Dr. Brent Bisbocci of Cambodia, Bryn (Dr. Raymond) Tropeano of Lakewood, CA, and Dr. Brady (Cindy) Bisbocci of St. Clairsville, OH. She was a very proud grandmother to Erica Lacey, Angelo Bisbocci, Derek and Devyn Tropeano, J. Logan and Geno Bisbocci. Claudie also leaves behind four adored great-grand- children: Kaiden and Kaleb Maynor, and Mya and Vincent Tropeano.
Claudie found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working on crossword puzzles, crocheting, cheering for the Steelers and Martins Ferry Purple Riders, and especially rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes. She rarely missed a figure skating competition or an episode of Dancing with the Stars. She loved shopping on QVC and absolutely loved shopping at Gabe’s for a good deal. If you ever ran into Claudie while you were out shopping, you know she always made time to have a nice chat. She enjoyed her vacations in California, had fun trying all cuisines, her favorite being Indian, even enjoying a Taj Mahal beer with her dinner. Her most treasured thing by far was having her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren come to visit.
Claudie, Mrs. B, Mom, Gramma Claudie will be dearly missed by many.
Her family will be holding a private service. She will be put to rest next to her husband at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, OH.
