ALEXANDRIA BURDOCK
Alexandria (Burlenski) Burdock, 77, of St. Clairsville passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born February 6, 1948, in Martins Ferry, the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Grill) Burlenski.
She retired from Woodland Acres Nursing Home and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church St. Clairsville as well as Barton Fire Department Auxiliary. Alexandria was the heart of her family, a constant source of strength and the one person you could always count on to be on your side no matter what. She never sought the spotlight, but she shone in all the quiet ways that mattered most.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Alexander Burlenski, sisters, Janice Snyder, and Shelley Maleski.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 57 years, John R. Burdock, children, Valerie (Adam) Castle of Batavia, OH, Eric (Rebecca) Burdock of Worthington, OH, grandchildren, Bethany, and Chloe Castle and Xander and Draven Burdock, sister, Francine (Loyal) Springer and Sharon Allison.
Family and friends will be received for a memorial visitation on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 10am -2pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Bridgeport, OH 43912. Funeral service will begin at 1:30pm with Fr. Thomas Chillog officiating, followed by Fire Department services at 1:45pm.
