LINDA GIFFIN
Linda Jean Giffin, 76, of Clearwater, Florida, formerly of Bridgeport, passed away Wednesday July 23, 2025, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater Florida surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 12, 1948, in Wheeling, a daughter of the late John and Claudine (Kennedy) Leonard.
She was a member of Rock Hill Presbyterian Church Bellaire. Linda loved spending time wither family and friends. She loved living at the beach, going on cruises, going to Amish Country, and playing cards. She loved RVing with her husband of 53 years. She was a very generous, loving and kind person.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Chester R. Giffin Sr., a daughter Kimber Medicus and a sister Sherry Columbo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Kristie Barnes of Shadyside, Chester R. (Michelle) Giffin Jr. of Bridgeport, and Stephen (Brittney) Giffin of Bridgeport, siblings John (Rose) Leonard, Ricky (Lisa) Leonard, and Johnetta (Cy) Yaegel, 8 grandchildren Zachary and Alexandra Barnes, Noah, Bryton, Brady, Isabelle, Logan, and Quentin Giffin, two great grandchildren Jeremiah and Alannah.
Friends will be received at the Wilson Funeral Home 920 National Road Brookside on Thursday July 31, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Rev. David Demarest officiating, interment at Rock Hill Cemetery Bellaire.
