MARY McINTYRE

Mary C. McIntyre, 76, of Anna, Ohio, who family and friends knew affectionately as “Punk,” passed away after an extended illness on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at her home with family by her side. She was born on October 1, 1948 in Bellaire, Ohio, to the late Hudson and Virginia (Billing) McIntyre.

Mary is survived by her sister Marcy (Lee) Braun of Wapakoneta, nieces Sarah (Terry) Dirksen of Minster and Sybil (Derek) Koenig of Botkins, a nephew, Sam (Stacy) Braun, also of Botkins, 9 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great-great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are two aunts, Judi Billing and Velma Billing. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Clarence and Ruth (Kah) Billing and David and Hazel (Caldwell) McIntyre.

Mary graduated from Anna High School and Miami Jacobs Business College. She was employed with Dunson Supply Company for many years, and she retired from Dorothy Love Retirement Community. She was a member St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church in Anna.

Her greatest enjoyment was watching her nieces and nephews and her great nieces and nephews in sports and 4H competitions, but she always let everyone know her heart was green – for Anna. Punk also was an avid fan of UCONN women’s basketball.

Respecting Mary’s wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial services. A private burial will be held at Pearl Cemetery in Anna. Any memorial donations can be made in Mary’s honor to Wilson Hospice of Sidney. Arrangements are in the care of Cromes-Edwards Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family at, www.cromesfh.com
