HECTOR MINZLER
Hector Minzler, 80, of Triadelphia, WV, passed away on Thursday, July 24th at Moundsville Health Care Center.
He was born in Wheeling, WV on March 14, 1945, son of the late Harold and Helen Marie (Leithe) Minzler, Sr.
In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Green) Minzler; uncle, Donald Crane; brother-in-law, David Green and his beloved dog, Cherry.
Hector is survived by his sister-in-law, Sandra Burek; very good friend, Barbara “Barb” Knollinger; and his beloved cat, Sonny Boy.
He was a Construction Sheet Metal Worker with Sheet Metal Local #33 for 40 years. Harold was a graduate of Wheeling Central High and a Methodist by faith. Harold also served in the United States Navy, active duty, for 6 years.
Hector loved his TV shows, baseball and football especially the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
Per Hector’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. His final resting place will be Park View Memorial Gardens upon cremation.
Harold’s care and final arrangements have been entrusted to Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Wheeling, WV.
