IGNATZ “IGGY” OLACK

Ignatz Paul Olack, 70, of Bellaire, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025 at the WVU Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.
He was born June 5, 1955 a son of the late Ignatz J. and Lydia (Clark) Olack.
Iggy retired from Triangle Conduit Company, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator.
A man of varied interests, Iggy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid reader who loved history. He enjoyed watching movies with his children and played countless games of euchre with his family. He had a deep appreciation for Bellaire and was well-known in all local restaurants. He will be remembered for his own cooking, which he prepared for his family often.
Iggy was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Bellaire, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Judy Johnson, John Olack, Charles Olack, and Michael Olack.
Iggy’s legacy lives on through his surviving family: children, Natalie Olack, Daniel Olack; brothers, Robert (Bernadette) Olack, Jerry (Linette) Olack; brother-in-law, John Johnson; sisters-in-law, Christal Olack and Betty Burkhart. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember his kindness and warmth.
Family and friends are to be received at the Bauknecht- Altmeyer Funeral Home 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio on Thursday, September, 18, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:45pm with Father Daniel Heusel as Celebrant.
