ROSE M. SEFSICK

Rose Marie (Battilochi) Sefsick, 93, of Adena, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Adena, Ohio, on October 13, 1931, the daughter of the late Frank and Susie Celestino Battilochi. Rose lived a long and beautiful life, devoted to her family and remembered for her kindness, warmth, and gentle spirit.

She is survived by her son, Doug, and his wife Robin of Adena, along with her two grandchildren, Paige and Drew, who were the light of her life.

Rose was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, John S. Sefsick; her brothers, Frank “Bo” Battilochi and Samuel Battilochi; and her sisters, Helen Young and Irene Chiarelli.

Family and friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena, Ohio, with Vigil service at 3 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Adena, Ohio. Prayers of committal and entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Colerain, Ohio.

Those wishing to remember Rose can make a memorial donation in her memory to either St. Casimir Catholic Church in Adena or the Humane Society of Harrison County.

She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
