JEROME GETZLAFF
Jerome Alex Getzlaff,92, of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital. Born on July 7, 1933, in Beloit, Wisconsin, Jerome lived a life marked by dedication to his family, faith, and work.
Jerome was the beloved husband of the late Sarah (Haught) Getzlaff, with whom he shared 63 cherished years of marriage. He was the devoted son of the late Erma (Helser) Getzlaff and Edward Getzlaff.
A proud Navy and Korean War veteran, Jerome served his country with honor and distinction. Following his military service, he became the owner and operator of Kings of Kings Enterprise, where he worked diligently for over 35 years.
Jerome was a faithful member of the Church of God in Wheeling, West Virginia, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment.
He is survived by his loving children: Jon A. (Wendy) Getzlaff, Jerry (Michelle) Getzlaff, and Julie (Chris) Hofmann. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Heather (Michael) Jones, Fara (Pat) Adams, Alicia (Jesse) Dubil, Justin (Jamie Homan, fiance) Getzlaff, and Brian (Sara) Getzlaff. Jerome was also blessed with great- grandchildren: Valerie & Isaac Jones, Sarah & Luke Dubil, Jayden & Joel Getzlaff, Jonny, Nolan & Leo Getzlaff, Benjamen Manion, and Jeremiah Getzlaff, as well as a great-great-grand- son, Rhyis. Additionally, he leaves behind step-great-grandchildren Lexis Maray & Jose Olinski.
Jerome has gone to be with his beloved wife, Sarah, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
