PATRICIA JEAN GUMMERE

She was born November 28, 1952, in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late James Robert “Bob” Gillogly and Mildred Hazel Doty Gillogly.

Patricia was a loving homemaker. She was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School, she was a member of the Belmont County Saddle Club and 4H. She was an avid covered wagon enthusiast and loved to spend time in the garden, especially attending to her flowers.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Linda Jane Gummere and a brother-in-law, Roy Gummere Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard Alan Gummere of St. Clairsville, Ohio; two children, James Kevin (Brook) Gummere of Bennett, Colorado and Rebecca Jane (Bryan) Pope of Bloomville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Brynn (Kolby), Elyse and Addy Pope; brother-in-law, Robert Jay (Kathy) Gummere; sister-in-law, Connie L. Gummere; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
