DONALD PERNICK

Don was born on July 5, 1939, in Dillonvale, OH, to the late Andrew and Elizabeth (Marzley) Pernick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Greg Pernick; three brothers, Andrew “Babbe”, Richard and Raymond Pernick and two sisters, Louise Poluga and Betty Pernick.

Don served in the United States Army. He worked at Belots and retired from Ohio Bell. In his spare-time he would hunt and fish and work on vehicles. Don was a good husband and father who loved spending time with his family.

Don is survived by his wife of 41 years, Beverly (Blankenhorn) Pernick; his son, Donald (Kiri) Pernick; his daughter, Lisa Burdine; two brothers, Fred (Diane) and George (Norma) Pernick; two sisters, Edna Atwood and Violet Robinson, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Don and celebrate his life on Wednesday, December 31st, from 2 pm until the time of service of 5 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.

Full Military Honors will be conducted at 2 pm by the Belmont County Honor Guard.
