HELEN IRENE CONNERS
Helen Irene Mullins Conners, 84, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born November 19, 1941, in Flat Gap, Virginia, a daughter of the late Doyle and Macile Bolling Mullins.
Helen was a loving homemaker. She was a 1960 graduate of St. Clairsville High School. She was a member of the Neffs and Lansing United Methodist Churches, being very involved in various capacities in the church including teaching Sunday School. She was a church representative and a voting member of the council for the United Methodist Church traveling every year to Cleveland for council. She was well liked by everyone, always willing to help anyone out and a mother figure to anyone who needed it who always testified to what God had done for her.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Joseph Conners in 2018; son, Kenneth Joseph Conners; and two sisters, Lou Ella Mullins and Phyllis Jean Staso.
She is survived by her son, Michael Edward Conners; three grandchildren, Brittany, Tiffany and Kimberly; six great- grandchildren, Colten, Cooper, Colby, Cam, Flora and Hallie; two brothers, Ercel Rodgers Mullins and Curtis Edward Mullins Sr., one sister, Ruth Ann Mullins Parrish; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Neffs or Lansing United Methodist Churches.
