JANET HAUGHT
Janet B. Haught, 86, of Warnock, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glendale, West Virginia. She was born November 17, 1939 in Warnock, a daughter of the late Russell and Vera Piper West.
Janet was a former custodian for the Harbor of Hope Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio, and she enjoyed puzzles, coloring, Jimmy Swaggart and church events.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Doyle Haught, Sr. in 2023; three grandchildren, Rachel Marie Schimmel, Joshua Roth and Justin Haught; a daughter-in-law, Debra Haught; two sons-in-law, Mike Roth and Matt Ritchey Todd; two brothers, Doug West and Donald West.
Surviving are her children, Debra Roth of St. Clairsville, Jackie D. “Bud” Haught, Jr and Michael Carl Haught, both of Warnock, Diana (Roland) Schimmel of St. Clairsville and Lisa Richey Todd of Warnock; grandchildren, Nicole Roth and Erin (Kurtis) Cullen; six great grandchildren, Brady, Kaitlyn, Nick, Beau, Tori and Nate; one great great granddaughter, Scarlet Richards. She shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Hooch, whose loyal companionship brought her comfort and happiness.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from noon until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Pastor Dean Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
