Sherry was a supportive and loving teacher who had a natural gift for encouraging others. Her compassion and dedication touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. A lifelong lover of all animals, Sherry’s heart was as gentle as it was generous. She found peace and joy at the beach, where she loved the sound of the waves and the calm of the ocean. She loved candy, Ho-Ho’s, Cherry Pepsi, and Post Malone. Above all, she cherished her family, who were the center of her life and the source of her greatest happiness. In her last five years, she was even able to live out her Hallmark moment when she reconnected with her high school sweetheart, Jerry Brown. Sherry will be remembered for her kindness, her unwavering support of others, and the love she freely gave.
Per Sherry’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. In lieu of flowers, her family would like any memorial contributions to be made to the Angel Fund at the Mon-Health Foundation, c/o JoAnna Wiley, 1200 J.D. Anderson Dr, Morgantown, WV 26505 or by visiting TMCFunding. com.
