THERESA A. BESECE

Theresa A. (Boroski) Besece, 93 of Dillonvale passed away Saturday, January 24th at Cumberland Pointe Care Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio.

Theresa was born at home in Dillonvale on June 18th, 1932, the daughter of the late Bolick and Blanche (Miller) Boroski. Theresa was a 1950 graduate of Dillonvale High School. She retired from Buckeye Local School District overseeing all of the district cafeterias. Theresa was a faithful member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Dillonvale, Ohio. She was also a member of the St. Adalbert Choir and United Transportation Union Women’s Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence L. Besece, brothers; John, Stanley, Frank, Walter, and Edward (infant) Boroski, sisters; Helen Knoroski, Laura Koczaja, and Julia (Jay) Kioski.

Left to cherish her memory are her three sons: Stephen B. (Wendy) Besece, Lawrence L. Besece Jr., Delbert L. (Anne) Besece all of Dillonvale, Ohio, brothers; William (Thelma) Boroski of Aurora, Illinois, grandchildren; Clint (Chris) Besece, Amy (Roger) Davis, Brooke (Charles) Stingle, Clark (Abbi) Besece, great-grand children; Kilee (Hunter) Southwood- Davis, Shay Davis, Cai McKeever, Brynn McKeever, Charles L. Stingle IV, Jhett Besece, Crew Besece-Wragg, God- children; Mary Lynn (Boroski) Hutkay, Bruce Boroski and Gary Knoroski. Theresa shared a special bond with her nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Adalbert Catholic Church in Theresa’s memory.

Family and friends will be received Friday, January 30th, 2026, from 10 am till time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 39 Smithfield St., Dillonvale, Ohio 43917, with Fr. William Cross officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, St. Rt., 150, Dillonvale. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 154 Second St., Dillonvale, Ohio 43917.
