DOROTHY BORKOSKI
Dorothy Jean Borkoski, beloved sister, aunt and friend to many, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Park Health Care Center, in St. Clairsville, OH, at the age of 85.
She was born on July 4, 1940, in Adena, OH, to the late Zigmund and Jenny (Martin) Borkoski.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Eugene Borkoski, sister, Carol Ardush, nephews, Randy Borkoski and Joseph Borkoski, niece, Andrea Bandish and her loving companion of 35 years, Will Ayala.
Dorothy was a graduate of Adena High School, class of 1958. After graduation she moved to Cleveland, Ohio. While in Cleveland, she did some modeling and worked at Peuton Publishing retiring as a supervisor in her department.
Dorothy is survived by her beloved brother, Herman (Frances) Borkoski, nieces, Amy Sebring, Becky Wilhelm, Natalie Warnock, Lana Brown, Susan Dimmick, Connie Deluca and Kimberly Dunn and Michael (Gina) Ayala and Mitchell Ayala.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Dorothy and celebrate her life on Thursday, February 5th, from 4-7 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, with Vigil Services at 4:30, with Father William Cross.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass, will be held Friday, 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH.
Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery, Harrisville, OH.
The family would like to give special thanks to her two nieces, Amy and Becky, for always being there for her, the girls at the Tiltonsville Library for always giving a helping hand and being so kind to Dorothy, her neighbors for always stopping by to visit and Park Health Care Center for the loving care given to Dorothy.
