Helen Virginia Bigler, 95, of Powhatan Point Ohio passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Shadyside, Ohio.

Born on January 5, 1931, in Jacobsburg, Ohio, a daughter of the late Albert F. Baker and Emma Kriechbaum Baker. Helen spent her life dedicated to her family and her faith.

Helen was a lifelong member of the First Presbyterian Church in Powhatan. She was also a respected member of the Eastern Star Captina Chapter 489.

Preceded in death by her beloved parents, her devoted husband Ray Eugene Bigler, and her sister Wilma Forni.

Survivors include her loving children, Cynthia (Kenneth) Brannan of Powhatan Point, Ohio, Eric P. Bigler of Fairborn, Ohio, and Saralyn (Jon) Leonard of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Grandchildren; Jason Guzek, Jenna (Richard) Lehew, Jon (Laura) Leonard, Matthew (Jamie) Leonard and Kathryn Leonard, as well as six great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home and Crematory, 186 Main Street Powhatan Point Ohio on Monday February 9, 2026 from 12pm until time of funeral service at 2pm. Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband immediately following in Powhatan Cemetery.
