JOHN KOVACH

John was born on April 26, 1935, to the late John and Elizabeth (Strama) of Martins Ferry, Ohio.

John was a retired chemical operator at Bayer Chemical and a Catholic by faith.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. John loved fishing, making wine and watching Ohio State Football. He especially loved growing his vegetable garden and sharing his knowledge of gardening with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Norma (Greenwood) Kovach and a brother, Robert Kovach.

John is survived by his three children, Lynn Jendrzejak, Columbus, Ohio, Marianne (Jim) Pickard Tampa, Florida, and John (Julie) Kovach of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister Mary Ann (Lowell) Caldwell of Columbus, Ohio; as well as eight grandchildren.

A mass and celebration of life will take place at a later date.
