ROSE LESNICK

Rose (DiClemente) Lesnick, 86 of Bridgeport passed away peacefully Sunday, Thursday, February 22, 2026, at Liza’s Place with her loved ones by her side. She was born on June 26, 1939, in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Giosue and Mary Ann (Guitiani) DiClemente.

Rose was a resident of Elmhurst House of Friendship. She lived for nearly 40 years in Kirkwood Heights, Bridgeport, OH. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bridgeport, OH.

Rose retired from Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Wheeling location, where she worked as a claims adjuster for 18 years. She was loved by her family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed Facebook where she was able to remain close with people she loved. She was especially proud of her Italian heritage and was passionate about carrying on many Italian family traditions. Rose was an honest person who always wanted to do the right thing. She was a compassionate and generous person, also known as the “character” of the family. Her humor was second to none.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband (of 38 years) Thomas “Briggle” Lesnick, daughter Jule Ann Romick, brothers Louis, Leonard, and Alexander DiClemente, grandsons Chad Stein and Sean “Sparky” Romick, niece Mary Ann Armstrong, nephew William DiClemente, infant stepson Joey Lesnick, sister in laws Ruth Biscan and Dorothy Tierney.

Surviving are her son, Charles Stein, son in law Mike Romick, grandchildren, Meggie (Kellette) Goody, Emily, Christin, Charles, and Alex and several great grandchildren, in Texas, stepchildren, Lee Anne (Rob) Hill, Thomas (Angie) Lesnick, Mary (Angela) Lesnick, 8 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren, brother-in-law, Edward (Mary) Lesnick of St, Clairsville, OH.

A special “Thank-You,” to family members who went above and beyond caring for her needs. “Thank-You” to Liza’s Place for providing a calming environment for Rose, her family, and her friends. The staff could not have been more professional, caring, and respectful.

Family and friends will be received Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 5 – 8pm with wake service at 5pm, at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, OH 43912. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Friday, February 27, 2026, at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 68210 Neola Avenue, Bridgeport, OH 43912, with Fr. John Mucha officiating. Interment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
