ELLA BRADLEY
Ella Louise Bradley, age 85, formerly of Adena and Harrisville, passed away April 21, 2026, while residing at Park Health in St. Clairsville. She was born January 31, 1941, in Blainsville, Ohio, to parents Harry Lee and Rachel (Jenkins) Wright.
Ella devoted her life to caring for others. She was a chairwoman for the Salvation Army for many years and was a nurse’s aide at McGraw Nursing Home and Carriage Inn. She also worked at the Co-Op in Adena.
She was an active member of the Harrisville Methodist Church where she served as a lay speaker, and truly enjoyed her church friends. Ella also enjoyed being on the family farm and taking care of the animals.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lowell Robert Bradley Sr., her son Mark Burris, and her grandchild Emily Burris.
She is survived by her children: William Burris Jr. of St. Clairsville, Leona (Tom) McGrady of Adena, and Harry Bradley of Raymond, Ohio. “Nanners” memory will also be cherished by her grandchildren: Brent, Will, Lacee, Mark, and Erica, as well as her great-grandchildren.
Friends and family will be received Monday, April 27, 2026, from 5 to 7 p.m at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena, where funeral services will be officiated by Pastor Ken Staley on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
