WILLIAM SOOS

Bill retired from AT & T after 45 plus years of service, a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War, holding the title Sergeant in the Hg Battery 1st Battalion 73rd Field Artillery Regimen. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in Colerain and a social member of the Barton Volunteer Fire Dept., American Legion Post #252, and a member of the CWA Union. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend, and neighbor, who devoted his whole life to his family and love watching his grandchildren grow up and supported them in all their activities. He had a passion for gardening, enjoyed bird watching and restoring antique radios, and listened to shortwave radio. He was an avid Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Ohio State Buckeye fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Soos.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Dorothy (Gunsorek) Soos who he married on July 25, 1970, children, Nicole (Mark) Galich, Timothy (Stacey) Soos, and Angela (Matt)Soos-Flaherty, grandchildren, Matthew and Nicholas Galich, Aislynn and Ashley Soos, sister, Sandra (John) Lemming, sister-in-law, Nancy Soos, and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Liturgy with Mass to be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 10:30am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 72581 Colerain Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912. Burial to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 72581 Colerain Rd. Bridgeport, OH 43912.
