ETHEL WAHONICK
Ethel Wahonick, 89, formerly of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Continuous Care Center, in Wheeling, WV.
She was born on September 4, 1936, in Tiltonsville, OH, to the late John and Rose (Sutak) Vasas.
In addition to her parents, Ethel was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Joseph Kuri Jr; her 2nd husband, Donald Wahonick; her son, Kurt Kuri; son-in-law, Anthony Notaro and her grandson, Kolin Kuri.
Ethel retired from the Tiltonsville Water Department. In addition to traveling, she loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed!
Ethel is survived by her son, Kevin (Darla) Kuri; her daughter, Josanne Notaro; her grandchildren, Kevin (Lace) Kuri, Kris (Nikki) Kuri, Michelle Notaro (Alex Flores) and Vincent (Alexandria) Notaro and her great-grandsons, Joseph and Louis Notaro.
Private services were entrusted with the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Resident Council Fund, Continuous Care Center, in Ethel’s name.
