LOIS MARTIN
Lois Elaine Williams Martin, aged 74, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, in her hometown of Bellaire, Ohio, after a long illness. Born on December 11, 1951, in Bellaire, OH, she spent her entire life in the community she loved.
Lois dedicated 20 years of her professional life to serving others with kindness and diligence at Rite Aid. Her unwavering commitment to her work and her gentle spirit left a lasting impression on her colleagues and customers alike.
She was a devoted member of Church Alive, where she found solace and strength in her faith and fellowship.
Lois is preceded in death by her beloved parents, George and Helen (Heath) Williams; her brothers, Russel, David, and Richard Williams; and her sisters, Sandra Davis, Linda, and Jean Brown.
She is survived by Carl Cruise Jr., brother, Steve (Cindy) Williams; her daughter, Cathy (Nick) Imbody; her sons, Doug and Sharon Cruise, and Dave Cruise. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Rachel (Ryan) Toth, Jennifer (Adam) Wabnitz, Ashleigh (Cole) Grimm, Casey (Tammy) Cruise, Dylon (Anna) Long, Destiny Cruise, and Konnor, who was not only her grandson but also her devoted caregiver; great- grandchildren: Reid Toth, Riley and Kennedy Wabnitz, Cohen and Knox Grimm, Clayton, and Dallas Cruise, Axtyn, Braxly, and Elyzith Lucas.
Family and friends will gather to honor Lois on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 from 3-5 p.m., and 6-8 p.m., and again on Wednesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Lewis as officiant at Bauknecht Altmeyer Funeral Home, 441 37th St., Bellaire, OH 43906. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
Lois will be remembered for her gentle heart, her dedication to her family and community, and her enduring faith. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
