Rose Busack-Leinweber
Rose M. Busack (Leinweber) of Bellaire, Ohio passed away on June 2nd, 2026.
Rose was born June 18, 1925, the daughter of the late Amedeo & Adele (Molinari) Trella.
Rose graduated from St. John’s High School and then worked to support the war effort during World War II. In August 1946, she was married. Rose was a fantastic wife, mother and homemaker but above all else, she loved her family and treasured her time with them. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Club, Evergreens, & Sons of Italy.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, her beloved first husband, James J. Busack Sr. to whom she was married for 48 years and her loving second husband Francis Leinweber until his death in 2023. Three precious children also predeceased Rose: two daughters, Christine M. McKeets & Annette Witchey, and son, Dr. Ronald Busack DVM. Additionally, her passing was preceded by her wonderful siblings, her sister, Ann Bertucci Abruzzi and brother, Louis J. Trella.
Surviving are 2 children: Retired LTC / Dr. James A. (Halinah) Busack of Dickerson, MD and David (Nancy) Busack of Pickerington, OH. Son-in-laws Scott (Mary) McKeets of St. Clairsville, OH and David Witchey of St. Clairsville, OH and daughter-in-law Lora Busack of Broadview Heights, OH also survive her. In addition, Rose is survived by the very best nieces, nephews, in-law’s and family members that are too numerous to name.
She has eight fantastic grandchildren, Stephanie (Kyle) Sammons, R. Matthew Busack, Carolyn (Dr. Kaoru) Miyazaki, Joel (Kate) Busack, Hilda Rizzo-Busack (Hector Robles), Renee (Cody) Mullen, Clayton Witchey & Dyan Rizzo-Busack.
She has been blessed with 13 extraordinary and loving great-grand children who have brightened her life immensely: Milena, Cameron, Dominic, Landon, Christine, Vincent, Kennedy, Penelope, Arianna, Daniel, Luke, Henry and Liam.
Step-children surviving are Theresa Leinweber, Bill (Marsha) Leinweber, Pat (Lisa) Leinweber, David Leinweber and Kevin (Nicole) Leinweber.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 441 37th Street Bellaire, OH on Friday June 5, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at St. John Catholic Church with Father Daniel Heusel as celebrant. Entombment will immediately follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
