Alice A. Stone, 92, of Shadyside, OH passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2026.
Born May 2, 1934 in Elkhurst, WV to Arnie Elmer & Elizabeth Margaret (Moore) Walker.
Preceding her in death besides her parents are her husband, Richard "Stoney" Stone and daughter Elizabeth "Libby" Stone of Shadyside, OH.
She had 3 brothers, James, Harold, Russell Walker and a sister Betty Lea Hanshaw.
Surviving her are her daughter, Debbie (Randy Green) Kinney of Warwood, WV; son, Richard "Andy" Stone of Shadyside, Oh; granddaughter, Alissa (Brent Carpenter) Kinney of Columbus, OH; granddaughter/daughter Caitlin (David) Beals of Bridgeport, OH; and a great granddaughter, Makenna Beals of Bridgeport, OH.
Alice was retired from the old Stone & Thomas Dept. store in Wheeling, WV.
Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday July 20, 2026 from 10 AM until time of service at 12:30 PM at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.
