George Edward Lish, born on November 1, 1962, in Bellaire, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on August 27, 2026, at the age of 63.
A devoted man of faith, George cherished spending time with his family and friends and considered his children the highlight of his life. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing and hunting, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.
George was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary Eliza (Marlin) Lish and James Leroy Lish, as well as his brother, James Lish.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 36 years, Cynthia Lish, and his two daughters, Danielle (Charles Olivier) Lish and Abigail Lish, who will forever hold him in their hearts. He also leaves behind his brothers, Tom (Jean) Lish and Joe (Patty) Lish, and his sister-in-law, Linda Lish. George's legacy continues through numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, great-cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom were touched by his kindness and generosity.
Services to honor George's life will be held at a later date. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.
