Janice Louise Campbell, 95, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Born on May 26, 1931 in Bellaire, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Curtis and Mildred Gooch.
A Christian by faith, Janice was a devoted member of the South Bellaire Methodist Church. In addition to enjoying activities with her grandchildren, she was also a retired employee of Stone and Thomas Department Store. She brought kindness and warmth to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Campbell; an infant grandson, Andrew Ryan Campbell; her granddaughter, Randi Black; and her brother, Frank Williard Gooch.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan (Elmer) Duncan of St. Clairsville and Jill Campbell of Shadyside; her sisters, Diana (Ron) McCulley and Sharon (Frank) Wozniak; her cherished granddaughter, Morgan Black; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home, Bellaire Chapel, on Thursday, September 3, from 10 am to noon. Services to honor her life will take place following visitation at noon with Reverend James Hoff as Celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire, Ohio.
Janice leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire and comfort all those who were privileged to be part of her life.
