Anthony Joseph "Skip" Bumbico, born June 1, 1945, in Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2026, in Wheeling, West Virginia, at the age of 81.
Skip was a proud graduate of Martins Ferry High School, where he excelled in basketball and earned a scholarship to further his education in Florida. Following his academic endeavors, Skip served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army.
Devoted to his career in sales, Skip was known for his dedication and work ethic. He built a reputation for integrity and professionalism throughout his years of service in the field.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Nicholas Bumbico Sr. and Josephine Bumbico, his brother Nick Bumbico Jr., and his nephew Bryan Bumbico. Skip is survived by his cherished niece, Marybeth Waleisky, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
A graveside service to honor Skip's life and legacy will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects.
