Delmas E. Hashman, age 73, of St. Clairsville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2026. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home, surrounded by the family who absolutely adored him.
He was born March 22, 1953 in Barnesville, Ohio a son to the late Inez Hashman.
Delmas grew up sharing a special bond with his twin brother and his three sisters. A hardworking and dedicated provider, he built a long, steady career and eventually retired from Verizon phone company.
Delmas was a deeply devoted Christian whose strong faith guided his steps and shaped the immense, unwavering love he had for his family. He was a dedicated husband, an incredible father, and a man who put his loved ones first in everything he did. He will be profoundly missed, but his memory and his steadfast heart will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his siblings: John Hashman, his twin brother, Dennis Hashman, Doris (Rueben) Warner; and brothers- in-law, Delbert Owens, and Terry Temple.
His beautiful legacy of faith and family will be carried on by his survivors: his beloved wife, Treon Hashman; his loving daughter, Alicia (Jason) Williams; his devoted son, Joshua Hashman; two cherished grandchildren, Ian (Brittany) Williams, Haven (Landon Johnston) Williams; and three precious great-grand children: Kain, Memphis, and Saylor. He also leaves behind his three sisters, Linda Poland, Mary (Don) McClure, and Phyllis Owens; a brother, Roger Hashman; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Gallagher; brother-in-law, Bryan (Caryma) Gallagher; sisters-in-law, Julia Temple, Erin (Danny) Palmer, and Callie (Larry Steed) Gallagher; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog and best buddy, Walle.
Arrangements are at the convenience of the family and are entrusted to CARE Funeral Home 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio. Delmas will be laid to rest in the Ebenezer Baptist Cemetery in Bethesda, Ohio.
