Sandra Kay Fuchs, 83, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, at the Continuous Care Center WVU Medicine.
Born on August 30, 1943, in Byesville, OH, Sandra was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Fay (Bates) Stillion; her father, Earl Stillion; her sister, Norma Anderson; and her brother, Robert Stillion.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband, of over 65 years, Donald Fuchs; her son, Brian Fuchs; her daughter, Jody (Daryl) Brougham; grandchildren Cory, Tyler, and Taylor; great-grandchildren Palmer, Mia, Griffin, Scarlett, and Lillian; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home 3900 Central Ave. Shadyside, OH on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM, and on Friday, October 30, 2026, from noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM. with Lee Biles officiating.
Interment will follow at Powhatan Cemetery in Powhatan Point, Ohio.
Sandra's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
