Alma "Erma" Stoica, 96, passed away on November 04, 2026 in Parma, OH. Erma was born on November 11, 1929 in Lafferty, OH to parents Archie and Barbara (Calovini) Rizzardi.
Erma was a retired Seamstress for Belmont Manufacturing Co., a Lafferty Volunteer Fire Dept. EMT a RSVP (retired senior volunteer Program); a member of AARP and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary of Flushing, OH.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Ted Stoica; a son, Timothy Stoica; brothers, Henry & Eugene Rizzardi; a sister, Ann Fox; and a special Aunt, Pearl Joswiak
Alma is survived by her daughter; Tamara (Jared) Plasterer; sister, Barbara Lee (Dale) McCoy; daughter-in-law, Wendy Stoica; and her granddaughters, Kimberly & Valarie Plasterer.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday Nov. 10, 2026 2 -4 Pm & 6-8 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists – St. Clairsville Chapel, 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 then on Wed. Nov 11 at the St. John Lutheran Church 40 N. 4th Street Martins Ferry, OH from 11 am till time of service at noon. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens Colerain, OH.
