John A. Kish of Powhatan Point, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at the age of 82. John was born on September 25, 1944 in Bellaire, Ohio.
John was a veteran in the U. S. Army Reserve and retired from Shelly & Sands where he worked as a crane operator. He enjoyed playing cards and watching Football and Baseball.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Joanna (Gulash) Kish; his loving wife, Diane (Ducci) Kish and infant daughter April Lyn Kish.
John is survived by his two daughters, Trista (Joe) Miller, Kimberly (Mark) Johnson; his grandchildren, Allee (Kevin) Paulsen, Zachary (Molly) Miller, and Matthew Gregg; his brothers, Robert Kish, Dennis (Jacki) Kish, a sister, Kathi Kish; 4 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
Friends and family will be received at Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home – Powhatan Point Chapel, 186 Main Street Powhatan Point, Ohio 43942, on Thursday, Nov. 5th from 2 to 8 pm then on Friday Nov. 6 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Shadyside, Ohio from 9:30 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Dan Heusel officiating. Interment will follow at Powhatan Cemetery, Powhatan Point, Ohio.
