Nelson Jordan, 69, beloved husband and father, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Saturday, October 31, 2026, at WVU Medicine Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on September 19, 1957, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Robert and Willa (Johnston) Jordan Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Jordan Jr. and his sister, Arlene Jordan.
Nelson retired from Dynamet Steel Inc. He also worked at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville Plant as a Crane Operator for 23 years. One of Nelson's proudest moments at the mill was being part of the team that broke the record of producing the most steel in the Yorkville Plant.
Nelson always had a smile on his face. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making everyone happy. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan and took pride in his cars. He will be greatly missed!
Nelson is survived by his wife, Merritta (Irvin) Jordan; his sons Nelson (Brittni) Jordan Jr. and Landen Jordan; his daughter, Chelsea Jordan; his brother, Donell Jordan; two sisters, Tina (John) Martin and Vicki Henry and two grandsons, Luca and Ares Jordan.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Nelson and celebrate his life on Wednesday, November 4th, from 11 am until the time of services of 3 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend James Agnew officiating.
