Martha S. Wells, 90, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling. She was born on March 19, 1934, in East Liverpool, Ohio to the late Frank J. and Anna N. (Daily) Sanford. She was a faithful member of T.O.P.S. since 1979. She was a member for 62 years of the Nazarene Church in Barnesville and most recently attended the Bethesda Methodist Church. RICHARD POLINSKY

Richard Polinsky, 86, passed away on February 03, 2025 at WVU Medicine - Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. He was born on August 03, 1938 in Shadyside Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Catherine Iams Polinsky. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Robert ‘Bob’ Polinsky and Perry Polinsky. Richard is survived by wife of 50 years, Barbara Davis Polinsky; and brother, William Polinsky. There will be no services. Robert “Rob” Franklin Burdine, 63 of Bellaire, OH, passed away at home on January 30, 2025. Rob was born on May 10, 1961 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Lewis and Catherine Whalen Burdine. He grew up as a fun loving child and awesome sibling. He was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School and the Belmont Technical College LPN Program. He served in the U.S. Marines Corps. Barbara Warnock, 74, of Shadyside, OH, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025. She was born on January 22, 1951 in Wheeling, WV to the late Anne (Paolucci) Peake. Barbara was a devoted Catholic and a member of Saint John Catholic Church in Bellaire, where she also served as a longtime secretary. She was an avid fan of her Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
