Frances Hazel Conaway, 90, Shadyside, passed away Oct. 21, 2024, at Shadyside Health Care Center. She was born Oct. 26, 1933, in West Wheeling, the daughter of the late George and Rebecca (Meeker) Rhodes. Frances was a member of the Riverview Bible Church, and a homemaker, her love for her family was matched only by her love for the Lord. She will be missed by all who know and love her. Robert “Fats” DeVaul, 79, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on August 11, 1945, in Wheeling, WV. Fats loved to golf, play pool and vacation in Las Vegas. He was employed at Ohio Ferlo Alloy in Brilliant, OH, until the plant closed. He will always be remembered as a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother as well as a loyal and helpful friend to many.
