Howard A. McFarland, 87, of St. Clairsville, OH., passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at his home. He was born July 18, 1936 in Martins Ferry, OH., a son of the late Howard H. and Sybil Barnhart McFarland. Howard was a retired foreman with the former Wheeling- Pittsburgh Steel Corporation, Martins Ferry Plant, a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith R. Bennington McFarland in 2009; an infant son, Bruce McFarland; a sister and brother- in-law, Janet and James Rine.
