Verna Louise (Steinke) Kiss, 95, of Bellaire, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023, in Wheeling Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1927, Martins Ferry, a daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Fithen) Steinke. Verna was retired from the former Hills Department Store in Benwood and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Martins Ferry. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing.
