Mary Lou Baker, 96, of Belmont, OH passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Forest Hill Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, OH. She was born October 29, 1926 in Businessburg, OH, a daughter of the late Wilbur Day and Ina Leona Finnicum Day Wood. Mary Lou was a homemaker and a member of United Wesleyan Church in Bellaire, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Fred Wood; her husband, Clarence Guy “Bud” Baker Jr.; sons, Danny Joe Baker, Bruce A. Tina worked in the billing department at Ziegenfelter Frozen Treat Company, Wheeling, WV., and a Christian by faith. She was a member of American Legion Post 77 Auxiliary. Charles Edward Wilke, 88, of Bridgeport, OH., formerly of Martins Ferry, OH passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry. He was born January 8, 1934 in Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Edward and Anna Grove Wilke. Charles was a retired truck Driver for Eazor Trucking Company and a supervisor at Wheeling Island Gaming. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Charles loved to watch his grandchildren play ball for the Bellaire Big Reds.
