Edward Ross Weekley, 98, passed on December 9th 2022 at the Cardinal Place in Cambridge, Ohio. Formerly lived in Senecaville, Ohio. He was a WWII veteran. He was a member of Church of Christ, Byesville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen, of 32 years. His parents and sisters: Dorothy, Mildred, Ruth, and Edna. He has survived by his wife, Mae, of 40 years. He was survived by his brother, Richard Weekley, and sister, Peggy Massey. His son, Jeff Weekley, and daughter, JoEllen Gardner. Betty Jeanne (Vargo) Wharton, 85 of Colerain, OH passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital. She was born June 24, 1937, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Gocsik) Vargo. She worked for many years at the Total Sports Connection in Martins Ferry, and the Martins Ferry Chamber of Commerce, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary – Martins Ferry Post #38.
