Gary Raymond Bigelow - dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend - passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Friday, November 11. Gary was born to Raymond and Eleanor Bigelow and grew up in Bridgeport, Ohio. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1960 and served in the Navy for four years. He and his high school sweetheart, Patricia, resided in St. Clairsville with their boys. He then started his 35+ year career in the coal mine, spending most of his time as an assistant mine foreman. Arletta June Watkins (06-24-1938 to 11-06-2022) passed away peacefully with her daughter Holly, with whom she most recently resided, with her at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald J Watkins in 1987. Her parents Dorothy and Beecher Rhoades, Brothers, Beecher Jr, Brent, James, Rocky and sister Nancy. Joseph Brandi III, 66, of Dillonvale, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday November 8, 2022, at Valley Hospice North. He was born November 28, 1955, a son of the late Joseph Brandi II and Evelyn Rae Brandi. Joseph was a member of the Plastering Union and a United Mine Worker member. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Nicholas David Brandi, brother David Brandi Sr. and granddaughter Mya Chiodi. Michael Lee Turner, 76, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born February 12, 1946, in Oak Hill, West Virginia, a son of the late Robert Lee Turner and Viola Belle (O’Neal) Turner. Michael was a retired Chief Electrician for AEP and Windsor Coal. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran having served in the 794th Communications Squadron, Maintenance Company during the Vietnam War where he earned the Bronze Star for his meritorious courageous actions.
