Larry George Czapp, 78 of Martins Ferry passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, at WVU Medicine – Wheeling Hospital. He was born on December 8, 1946, in Martins Ferry, the son of the late George and Stella Agnes (Tokuazeski) Czapp. Larry retired from the former Big Bear Plus. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Martins Ferry and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steeler fan. He was a loving brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. Gloria Jean Lancaster, 83, of Akron, Ohio, formerly of Belmont, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Akron, Ohio. She was born November 14, 1941, in Wells, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Jacobson Erb. Gloria was a human resources director before her retirement. She was a Catholic by faith. Joseph Zdunczyk, aged 99, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Shadyside, OH. Born on June 8, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY. Joseph proudly served his country as a WWII Army Veteran and postal worker. A member of the American Legion Post 521 and St. Mary’s Catholic Church , both in Shadyside, OH.
