Richard Alvin Schau, 89, from Shadyside, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at the Shadyside Healthcare Center in Shadyside, Ohio. He was born on August 15, 1936, in Wheeling, West Virginia, a son to the late Chester and Edith (Toland) Schau. Richard pursued his academic ambitions with dedication, earning a Bachelor’s degree from West Liberty University followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Dayton. His professional career was marked by his long-standing role as a Guidance Counselor, a position he held with great commitment until his retirement. ...

Michael “Magic” Johnson, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Forest Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born on December 10, 1965, in Urichsville, Ohio, the son of Norman L Johnson and Nancy A Robinson Johnson. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 12-2 at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio. John Michael Klavon, 78, of Westerville was born on January 22, 1947 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He peacefully passed away in the early morning hours on September 11, 2025 surrounded by his only child, Michelle Lippincott (Klavon), Son-in-law, Paul and his sweetheart of 15 years, Barb Bickham.
