THE Jefferson County Clerk of Courts office collected a total of $810,494.81 in fees and taxes in May, according to a report released by John A. Corrigan, clerk. A total of $766,327.31 was for the state and the county share wa $44,167.50.

Total vehicle fees and taxes amounted to $775,005.77. The state share was

$750,302.50, and the county, $24,703.27. Miscellaneous fees totaled $17,059.60, and water craft fees, $379.63.

New cases filed in May are as follows: Civil, 43; Domestic, 17; Criminal 17; Court of Appeals, 3; Certificates of Judgment, 23; Ohio Dept. of Taxation, 33; Miscellaneous 21; and Notaries, 13.

Clerk fees paid into the county totaled $8,074.18. Interest paid was $2.57.

The Rayland Office processed 957 titles in May., The license plate revenue was $583.50. Passports processed totaled 37, and the revenue was $925.

The Courthouse office processed 44 passports. The revenue as $1,100. Courtrhouse license plate revenue amounted to $1,698.50. Total auto title fees paid was $43,678.62.

Total revenue paid into the county was $45,703.62. Total titles for the county was 3,129.
