Don’t Forget to Vote
The candidates have had their chance to persuade. The organizations asking you to either renew or approve a tax levy for their services have done their part.
Now it’s up to you.
Get out and vote at your polling place today.
If you didn’t take advantage of early voting, today is the day for Ohioans to go to the polls and cast their votes. On the ballots today are mayoral and city council races, township trustees contests, school board selections and more. And there also are a host of tax levies, charter amendments, and other items that require your attention.
This is your solemn duty as a citizen — to cast a ballot for those people and issues you support. It’s that simple. Don’t let apathy or concern over the current division in our nation keep you at home. Exercise your right to vote — a sacred right in this country, a right no one can remove.
What’s also important as you head to the polls today is to remember all these races and issues — they’re local. They will have a direct impact right here in our Ohio Valley. Whether is an elected official or funding for the local library, these issues hit close to home.
Get out and vote. Today.
