Charlie Wilson

Dear Editor,

After reading Congressman Wilson’s column in Saturday’s paper, I can see he is trying to put his mask back on.

The mask of fiscal conservation. If he succeeds, I think it is fairly certain we will see more of what he wants hidden – exploding debt, collapsing opportunities and the sure and steady immolation of The America our Parents knew.

I’ve no doubt the congressman hopes we will believe his words. Like his president, he seems to feel that if you say the right things all else will follow, if not in fact, surely in perception.

For that is the age he and his fellow Democrats have created, results do not matter, only words. But to paraphrase an old Mixim, when I talk, I put on a mask, but, when I act, I am forced to take that mask off. I gather that more and more people do not hide the face under the mask his party’s policies have exposed.

On Nov. 2, the good people of his district will hopefully check the box to rehire his words, actions, ideas and self. Then, the mask on or off, Charles Wilson’s pevrile excuses will be of no avail and the retirement of he and his ilk hast lead to the betterment and restoration of our beleagure country.
