Attitude Change

Dear Editor

My question is, why in this bad economy and time of hardship are we still walking all over the working man?

It’s bad enough that I see people on welfare and with no jobs, driving nicer vehicles then me, jobless people living way better than I am? What really bothers me is the way our government services work. If you work every day, how can you go take care of any government related service you may need?

All I want to know is what it would be like to be able to go to the post office, BMV, Title office, and legally pay more of my hard earned money, for my over priced title fee and over priced license plates.

But, I cant! I have to take time off of work to make it to the title office by 4:15? Does this really make sense to any of you hard working people? Unless the title office is where you work, you may have never ever seen inside those doors. What made me so angry? I got off work at normal time, 4 p.m., after putting my day in.

I drove through the construction traffic on I-70 like a mad man. I got to the title office at 4:06, when the sign clearly says 4:15. I pulled on the locked door, not alone. In the parking lot stood a lady, also in work clothes, tying to figure out why it was locked as well.

Meanwhile, employees inside were still there. They where closed by 4:06, sat there not helping any one but themselves, and at 4:15 on the dot, got up and walked out. Shame on you people. If everyone worked like you, packed up and went home early, or locked the doors and didn’t keep working out the extent of our days,How would you pay your bills?

If you cant change your hours to help us out, start by changing your attitudes.
